Work with students to analyze the various images of playgrounds. Make sure to carefully observe the equipment structures and think about possible dangers on the playground.

After completing the analysis of the images, ask students to design their own playground taking into account safety and rules that may need to be in place for their playground design to help students have fun and stay safe. Students can share their designs and the rules of the playground in a walk about or through digital portfolios.
