How is the American flag used as a symbol of our nation? By investigating primary sources displaying the American flag, we can explore the various ways people use the flag to show characteristics such as pride, loyalty, and unity for the nation.

When I read the post featuring "Capture the Flag", I decided to integrate it into one of my classes this morning. It was a great success. There were a couple of technology bugs, but a great resource. I paired "Capture the Flag" with the picture book, "Hail the Chief" by Callista Gingrich.
