Album Description

Puerto Rico is a US Territory.  The residents are legally US Citizens, so do not require a visa to travel to and from the US.  However, the are not permitted to vote in mainland elections.  There has long been a movement for Congress to establish Puerto Rico as the 51st state. 

These resources are to assist teachers in locating and sharing primary sources related to this lovely island.
