THANKSGIVING THEN & NOW - a historic newspaper exercise for kindergarten

Album Description

Thanksgiving and how it has changed. Investigate holidays over the years with a focus on Thanksgiving. Using the news articles to compare current Thanksgiving traditions, food, cost and even comics to that of 1897, 1906, 1917, and 1942. Students will look at newspapers and do a Venn diagram comparing historical to current.
