Demonstrates Bell Laboratory wonders. Sergius P. Grace, Vice-President of the Bell Telephone Laboratories, shows the old and the new in telephones. That in his right hand is a model of Alexander Graham Bell's first telephone through which sounds were first electronically transmitted in 1875. The larger apparatus near his right hand is the artificial lung and larynx, which enables people with paralyzed vocal cords to talk again. 12/30
