Album Description

In this activity, students listen to a recording from the LOC's Voices from the Dust Bowl: The Charles L. Todd & Robert Sonkin Migratory Worker Collection, view a Dorothea Lange photo of workers in the fields, sing the song while viewing a transcription  Art/Music , and discuss how this protest song helped workers to unionize in the 1930s.
