Album Description
One of the most effective ways for young historians to engage with primary sources and history is to look at the development of common items across the historical range. Bicycles are one of those ubiquitous modes of transportation that are found throughout the last 150+ years. Used images from Free to Use and Reuse: Bicycles
- Using the images, have students first do a See, Think, Wonder independently.
- Next have students do a Think, Pair, Share with their ideas. Repeat with all images.
- Finally, have students talk about changes over time, using specific examples from the images.
Extension: Challenge students to think about what a future bicycle might look like?
