    Thank you, Randall for posting this, and welcome to the Group.  I see that this 2010 drama miniseries produced by The History Channel also has short teaching guides.  The guide for this particular episode shows a picture of a 1777 navy recruiting broadside.  A picture of the original broadside may be found here

    I'm wondering if, technically, it is possible to use clips from this episode.  Is anyone aware of Library of Congress primary sources that teachers have used with this film to deepen historical thinking?  The focus of this group is changing a bit, and discussion around use of resources like this one in combination with the use of more primary sources could be very useful and energizing.
