I still remember many of the details I learned from The Worst Hard Time. I've learned a lot from other Timothy Egan books, too, including Short Nights of the Shadow Catcher, about Edward Curtis and numerous indigenous tribes. I still recommend both of these titles to friends.

On hold for me at my public library - A Square Meal!
