This primary source set was created by educators from Tennessee, North Carolina, and South Carolina as their final project with the TPS Civil Right Fellowship. These sources can be used to teach the long arc of the civil rights struggle.

    Very powerful.  Thanks for creating.  I certainly got caught up in the music, and students will also.

    A TPS grant project (thanks for the heads up,   Cate Cooney !) recently completed by the Houston Independent School District resulted in one lesson that fits like a glove with this Arts and Agency Primary Source Set. The lesson, based on the C3 Inquiry Design Model Blueprint, is titled Can Music Be Used as a Weapon to Combat Inequality and Injustice?
