    For Presidents' Day and beyond - this post in Teaching with the Library of Congress by  Danna Bell has some great prompts and links for looking at Presidential cartoons and caricatures historically and today!

    I particularly like the discussion points in the blog because they offer a way to pursue in depth understanding for the cartoons about presidents whose administrations are not as well known.  In these trying times, the perceptions aspect (now they call it "optics"?) is more relevant than ever.  I always watch for Danna Bell's blogs and writings as she illuminates multifaceted perspectives.  I have already downloaded AND bookmarked this link.  Thank you for calling attention to it.
