    Wow! What a rich album with vivid and engaging sources, and great introduction with teaching ideas that constitute a full lesson plan. I learned a lot about the Great Dismal Swamp, which, as a Massachusetts person with only a New-England-focused historical education, I knew nothing about. 

    Thanks for sharing   Tricia Stohr-Hunt  .  Combining literature with primary sources is a great way to help students understand the setting, time period and characters.
