    This lesson is intended to use artifacts and a personal story of one of the victims of the September 11th attacks in order to foster an understanding of the gravity of the attacks. This lesson takes place near the end of a unit or series of lessons where students already have a working knowledge of the who, what, when, and why of the September 11th Attacks on the United States. This lesson is appropriate for middle and high school students.
