    Here in Maine, the 4th Sunday in March is Maine Maple Sunday when sugar houses across the state open up for people to sample their products.  Here is more information from the Maine website.  

    There is a also a resolution in Congress passed every year to recognize it.  Here is one from Angus King in 2022!
