Many religions in the world today trace their roots to Abraham. The 3 most prominent among them are Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.

    OUTLINE/OVERVIEW:

The goal of this topic is to trace these religions back to their roots and discover where they all grew from.

    • Explore the origins and key beliefs of the three Abrahamic religions: Judaism, Christianity, and Islam.
    • Identify the similarities and differences between the three religions.
    • Appreciate the cultural and historical significance of these religions in shaping world civilizations.

    Introduction:

    • Begin by asking students if they are familiar with Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. Make note of their responses on the board.
    • Display the collated maps with the origins of these religions highlighted (The journey of Abraham starting from Ur of Chaldeans).
    • Explain that these three religions are known as the Abrahamic religions because they all trace their roots back to the biblical figure Abraham.

    Practice Exercises

Students are divided into groups and are asked to research and discuss commonalities between these religions using information shared in the class, as well as find their own resources.

    Assessment:

I would be using quiz to assess students' knowledge about the content
