John - Can you say a bit about how you use these sources? What grades? - Rich

Rich, I use these images with my 6th grade class.  We study a lot of images and look at change over time, what is in a modern textbook vs. what is a time period work.  My students really enjoy taking the images apart and sharing opinions or making connections with the images and history.  With The Constitution it is great because they can see how touch and go it was if the government was passed or not.  Often student will be asked to produce an image from a class period or chapter as an Exit ticket from class.  Stick figures rule the day.  But students and use symbols and thought bubbles in their images to help understanding.
