Practice: Students will be given a video to watch on Women in Science. Student will be asked the following questions.
- What is Science?
- What challenges did women face in science.
- Name obstacle that women face trying to enter the field of Sciencew
- What are some ways that women overcame challenges they faced and were able to make gains in the field of science. Give an example,
- Discuss the emotions women felt when they finally were able to make a break and get into the field of science. What opportunities were afforded to them after they acheived their goals of studying science?

Students may also find someone to speak on behalf of the person they are researching.
Relatives of Hemings speak. This source helps give another view of the President.
Students will also try to give voice to the past.

Students should also share something similar (in any format that select).
Students to respond with one-word descriptor of the mood of the war correspondents. Students to reflect on the type of writing, often associated with excitement like what is seen in the video.
