Many of the primary sources within this album focus on how the media at the time of Lockwood running for president, wrote about her. Many references to Lockwood were both dismissive and sexist. Helping students towards that understanding through analysis may give them a unique perspective as they view how women today, especially those in positions of power or government positions, are depicted in the media.
