Nice idea - Churchill is perfect for this activity. Check out the exhibition at the Library- John Bull and Uncle Sam.

Thank you - I am going to try and tweak it a little but is this on the right lines? The other thing is that I posted it to the wrong group, I meant to post it to VA Partnership Lesson Plans and Activities. Is there a way that these can be moved from one group to another (like a Move feature) as I couldn't seem to find one!

Hi Carl, I don't think there is a "move" feature, but you can share the post with the group by posting the sharable link at the bottom of the album page. Let me know if you need a hand with that!   Kile Clabaugh  is the master of the technical world of TPS, so if you have other technical issues, you can also reach out to him.

The images are wonderful!  What a fun album. Great work,   Carl Hodkin !

Does anyone know if the "old"  Lincoln's Pockets Primary Source Set (or was a a PD item) still exists?  I was unable to find it.  It was a fun and easy to implement "intro to primary sources" activity and a good ice breaker.   Participants would each get a photo of an object and try to identify it.  They did know know the origin of the item.

Here is a link to a photo of the actual items: https://www.loc.gov/item/2011646850/

Here is a 2 minute video explaining the objects https://www.loc.gov/item/myloc16/

And, here is the LOC catalog record
