The concept for a TPS/C3 partnership started in 2014 with the TPS funded Teaching with Inquiry project with John Lee, Kathy Swann, and S.G. Grant co-directors.   http://www.c3teachers.org/teaching-with-inquiry/  In 2015, the TPS Eastern Region offered a content specific online class titled, The Long Civil Rights Movement. Co-facilitators Ann Canning, John Lee, and David Hicks presented a model C3 Instructional Design Model (IDM) Blueprint. Participants were asked to modify that IDM with new supporting questions and new sources from the Library of Congress.  http://tps.waynesburg.edu/documents/1091-class-content-and-participant-inquiries-long-civil-rights-fall-2015/file

We have uploaded an IDM Template, an IDM At A Glance teacher’s guide and sample IDMs for your reference. Please post your own examples or questions to the team of C3 and TPS Administrators for this group.  Let’s get this dialogue rolling!
