Teaching ELLs group members -
From July 5 to August 5, 2016 teachers in the online course Emerging America: Immigration Issues in Perspective for Diverse Students will be posting to this group weekly as part of that course. All members of the entire Teaching ELLs group are welcome to read and reply to class posts in the spirit of inquiry and mutual support.
The subject will be Immigration History, a pointed topic for many ELLs. Specific strategies to teach diverse students will also be a part of each writing prompt. By holding our discussion in this public forum, we aim to extend and deepen the conversation about best practices and resources to support all learners through inquiry.
